Aldrich Mansion Wedding: A Colorful Summer Celebration
Cori and Zach’s July wedding at the historic Aldrich Mansion was all about creating a vibrant, summery atmosphere that contrasted beautifully with the bridesmaids’ chic black dresses. The couple envisioned a joyful mix of color and texture, featuring blooms like purple anemone, billy-balls, tangerine ranunculus, and lavender scabiosa, accented with soft peach ribbons and candlelight for warmth.
The design combined traditional elegance with playful touches. Tall arrangements on gold stands added drama to select tables, while compact floral designs in ceramic footed bowls paired with taper candles created an intimate glow. Ceremony florals were thoughtfully repurposed for cocktail hour and reception spaces, ensuring every bloom had its moment to shine. From the bridal bouquet to aisle accents and sweetheart table designs, the entire look reflected a fun, colorful vibe that felt timeless yet fresh.
This wedding is a perfect example of how flexibility and creativity, like mixing centerpiece styles and choosing seasonal flowers - can really bring a couple’s vision to life in a way that feels personal and unforgettable.
